The Kennek Foundation is named for Ken Duncan, whose spirit of giving inspired his daughter, Sheila, to bring hope to children facing their hardest days.
Ken Duncan's entrepreneurial generosity led his daughter, Sheila Duncan, to carry his legacy further and establish the foundation that bears his name. Since creating the Trouble character in 2006, Sheila has worked to raise awareness of the issues affecting children and families in crisis.
What began as a single comfort toy has grown into a nationwide effort, placing Trouble dogs with first responders so that a child's worst moment can be met with something gentle to hold.
Named for Ken. Carried on by Sheila.
